All energy suppliers are required to comply with a code of practice which sets up rules to help provide additional support and services for those who are disabled, elderly or unwell. Your energy supply will have a priority services register and you will need to ask them to add your details to this.
Once on the register they will provide additional support with regarding your energy meter, getting your bills sent in formats best for you and more. Should you have any queries about this, check with citizens advice and your energy supplier.
